NHL 23 10-Hour Trial Now Available With Xbox Game Pass

NHL 23 launches later this week, which means its EA Play trial is now live ahead of release. Of course, EA Play is a part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, meaning subscribers can now go hands on with 10 hours of NHL 23! Here's how:

How To Find The NHL 23 Free Trial On Xbox

  1. Go to the Microsoft Store app on your Xbox
  2. Search for 'NHL 23'
  3. Find the standard version for your console and select it (Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S)
  4. To the right, you should see an option for 'View Free Trial'
  5. Select this, and you'll then be able to download the game

The full game launches on October 14th, so the free EA Play trial gives you a nice early access period to try out this year's game! Eventually it will be added to the full EA Play vault too, several months after launch.

To make sure you get the most out of your trial, always fully quit the game when not playing. The 10-hour limit counts down whenever the game is running, and that time will still drain if you suspend it or leave it running in the background.
