Microsoft has now revealed the second batch of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in late October 2022, which includes some pretty notable departures such as Second Extinction, The Forgotten City, Sniper Elite 4 and various others.
Here's the full list of games set to leave Xbox Game Pass on October 31st, 2022:

As always, Xbox Game Pass members can get a discount of (at least) 20% on these titles before they're removed.

Arghhh! Got to get to the Forgotten City, but away this w/end.
Nothing I'm too bothered about there. I started Backbone and although I enjoyed the characters and setting it felt like it held your hand too much for a point and click adventure. Might try and finish it.

If you don't play any other game, at least give The Forgotten City a try, it's absolutely wonderful and not a long game to finish. I'll definitely be buying it.

If you're into flight simulators , Project Wingman is an excellent game made by a real small group of people....
Perhaps wishful thinking but I wonder if Second Extinction is leaving GP as it's leaving Early Access and we are getting the full version in its place?
Second extinction really enjoyed the time I played it.

Also if you've been sleeping on The Forgotten City then play it while you have the chance. It's pretty short, but I really enjoyed its cool time travel and ancient mythology focussed story and puzzles.
I'd play The Forgotten City but I hate games based on loops. Tried Alan Wake's American Nightmare and it's basically a shooter with some mild horror elements. Quite the departure from Alan Wake, unfortunately.
Thanks for the forgotten city recommendation. Somehow hadn't heard of that one, already got 3 of 4 endings, pretty good game. If you guys hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't have played it, so thanks!
Damn, should have done The Forgotten City on XsX before it's gone (only half of Sunday and Monday left now, don't know if I can 1000G it within that time though 🤔) gotta finish off MW2 first on PS5 (I think I'm on the last mission) and I have The Forgotten City physically on PS5 anyway so not a huge loss if I don't do it on XsX really 🤷♂️
