Limited Run has today begun pre-orders for the third official Xbox release from the company, which is an open pre-order for the upcoming River City Girls 2. The game doesn't have a launch date yet, but it's expected to get one soon.
There are two different versions available to pre-order - the standard boxed release which comes in at $34.99, along with the Ultimate Edition which features a whole bunch of extras for $99.99.
Here's the full list of what's included in the Ultimate Edition:
- Physical Copy of River City Girls 2 for Xbox Series X
- River City Girls 2 Digital Download Code
- River City Girls 2 Retro-Styled Box
- River City Girls Ultimate Edition Collector's Box
- 2 Disc Official River City Girls 2 Soundtrack
- Group Polaroid
- Reversible Poster - Reverse Side Features World Map!
- Sticker Pack
- Beeboo Plush - Squeeze it and it talks!
- Vampire Puncher 2 Retro Cart Keychain
- Kozuki's Press Pass
- Skullmageddon Coupon
- Ken's Boss Emblem Enamel Pin
Keep in mind that the standard version isn't expected to ship until 4-5 months after you've made your sale, while the Ultimate Edition isn't expected to ship until 8-9 months after the sale. Of course, if you're not interested in a physical copy of River City Girls 2, a digital version is expected to be available on the Microsoft Store at launch as well.
In other River City related news this week, it's been confirmed that River City Girls Zero will arrive digitally on Xbox next Tuesday, September 13th. The 1994 Super Famicom game launched on Nintendo Switch earlier this year (our sister site Nintendo Life gave it a 7/10 in their review), and it will finally now be available on Xbox in a few days' time!

Pretty cool. Unfortunately for me I have a problem with waiting 4-5 months for my stuff after I’ve paid 🤷♂️
Don’t do it. Those of us that stupidly bought into the switch releases regret it. Honestly don’t get involved with LRG. Especially now a lot of the switch releases have got full releases. Don’t pay them extra for fake scarcity.
Looks like a $100 for a $30 game with a bunch of junk.
