it seems like more games leave the service than get added to it
another terrible month
@SplooshDmg Sounds interesting
Been interested in Wildlands so that's nice, the rest was pretty lackluster.
@Retron Objectively untrue.
Every month this year there's been more added than removed.
Nothing there for me but I've downloaded Skyrim for an Xbox run through
Two Point Campus! That's my August sorted!
@rhyno_888 Second half of the month has Midnight Fight Express (John Wick x Sifu x Hotline Miami) & Immortality (from Her Story and Telling Lies director Sam Barlow) among others we don't know about.
Wildlands is great. Excited about turbo golf. I will give two point campus a try.
That's tragic.
Hopefully there are some unannounced titles. There usually are a few.
Wish expeditions rome had a console version.
Does anyone know if Wildlands is 60fps on Series X?
Not really something that interests me, but thankfully i still have a ton of games i still want to play on gamepass, so not every month has to have new and interesting games for me
@Feffster A quick google suggest no its still 30fps. (your eyes do adjust after a while, but it grates initially! Having to do it with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 right now)
Not completely awful, but I would suggest this set of titles has limited appeal and I have sympathies for those who are not impressed.
Nothing for me yet again, which has pretty much been most of the year on GP for me. If I hadnt have committed myself for three years, Id unsub now and come back next year when theres more of what I want from the service. But theres some tasty 3rd party titles due in the later half of the year, so all is not lost.
If I didnt have titles I want to play more elsewhere, Id be checking out two point campus, that could be entertaining!
Was hoping for Immortals to come. Oh well, time to dig my backlog.
Two point Campus is the only one that interests me. GR Wildlands is good, though I have it on PS4. Mind you, if Ubisoft decided to give it a 60fps patch…
@Retron Exactly! But gamers will say it's the greatest value in gaming. Ummmm, yea. If you like play plethora of 8 bit Nintendo level games. If so, game pass is for them.
@themightyant And the added ones were true quality? And the ones leaving were not worth it? I get it you are trying to show more came than left. But vast majority of game pass games are throw aways that very few gamers would ever play even if they knew about them.
@themightyant - thank you. That’s disappointing and I’ve been spoilt by Series X….I find it very hard to go back to 30fps. Will give it a try though.
Ghost Recon seems like a nice online coop game, but is it just me or is it very hard to find friends who want to play games coop for a longer amount of time?
Prefer to dive into Far Cry 5 coop anyway.
Game Pass lineup has looked rough since April, it does feel like Microsoft heavily relied upon Redfall + Starfield + Activision acquisition for this year (the former 2 of which are now 2023).
@Retron If you rephrase it as:
"it seems like more good games leave the service than get added to it"
Then I agree with you.
@Feffster Me too. It took a few hours for me on Switch with XC3 but it's OK now. Good luck.
@GuyinPA75 That's subjective and impossible to quantify. But looking at the games that came and went last month. Added games included Far Cry 5, Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2, Watch Dogs 2 & Inside. Plus I personally enjoyed Escape Academy, As Dusk Falls, Powerwash Simulator & Road 96. That's 10 of the 20 total games added.
What left? 10 games total: Atomicrops, Carrion, Children of Morta, Cris Tales, Lethal League Blaze, Dodgeball Academia, Katamari Damacy Reroll, Lumines Remastered, Omno, Raji.
You decide which was better.
@LtSarge See above #26
Nice, I always wanted to try Ghost Recon Wildlands and we have Cult of The Lamb releasing on the 11th, nice start of the month
@themightyant well not kind of games i prefer... so not interested
Shenzen I/O is fantastic, though if you do play it I highly recommend printing off the manual like it tells you to.
@Retron Five games are being removed, seven are being added. It even says on the articles of this webstie. Now maths isn't my strongest subject but by my reckoning that would make Game Pass two games better off, not worse off.
@rhyno_888 Unsubscribe then man. All people do these days is complain about everything. Show your displease with your wallet instead of typing empty statements on a website.
Two Point Campus is a game I've been waiting to release for ages, always wanted to try Cooking Simulator and Expeditions Rome sounds like something I'd enjoy.
@rhyno_888 No worries, we all like different things. We don't all win every month. But if there's a few months like that in a row vote with your wallet and unsubscribe, else nothing will change.
@SplooshDmg Agreed. Always frustrating seeing good games only going to PC or vice-versa.
Not as good as last month but still a solid set of additions
Nice, I was waiting for Ghost Recon Wildlands to come to gamepass..
I bought cooking sim when it came out there are 3 achivements that don't work and I'm still waiting for a fix maybe now it's out on gamepass they finally will ????....doubt it
Oh well my time is taken up with two point anyway
I should note the busted achivements are on the dlc not the base game
Is Wildlands cross play with PS4 ?
@Bmartin001 @BrilliantBill Wildlands is good, and a lot better than Break point. Just a shame it’s still (for now) 30fps 🙄
Two Point Campus plus backlog* digging, then.
(*) Wasteland 3 and Sakuna, here I come.
@Acurisur A lot of people would rather complain than make a change. I particularly enjoy reading, "Gamepass sucks!" every month on these updates, from people who can't entertain the idea that others enjoy these games. All that matters is that we all get read their fascinating, erudite opinions.
I'm looking forward to giving Wildlands a hoon, co op campaigns are my jam. Second only to couch co op!
Wildlands is a five hour demo. Pass. Not interested in demos being presented as actual games.
No game uses the power of Xbox series x. Why did I
bought a Xbox console last gen? Please, give us some next gen game! TY
@Hexamex-Tex not to mention forcing the installation of their launcher on PC
It may not be for everyone but you have to remember that Two Point Campus alone is a popular $40 game. I know people on other platforms buying it day one because they’re excited about it. The last game was extremely successful and this is being published by Sega so it’s not just some small crappy self-published indie. I’m sure it cost MS a bundle.
Wildlands is the only half decent game mentioned and I already own it lol. INSIDE was added recently and I got that through games with gold of all things. GP is not impressing me recently.
