Bandai Namco has revealed all the tech details for its upcoming Pac-Man World Remake, across both generations of systems. It's looking like a solid turnout on pretty much every Xbox console, and thankfully, Xbox Series S hasn't been an afterthought this time.
Xbox Series X and S will both run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, as will Xbox One X. The base Xbox One aims for 60fps at 1080p instead, which is to be expected. The Nintendo Switch version will be the only edition that opts for 30fps as its target frame rate.
This is good news all round on Xbox, especially for all the Series S owners out there. Sure, Pac-Man World Re-Pac is based on a classic title, but it's practically a full remake for modern platforms. Anyway, the game is out in just over a week, when it hits Xbox on August 25th.
Are you happy to see another Series S game hit 4K/60 FPS? Let us know if you'll be playing this one down in the comments!

@Kaloudz The above video includes a bit of developer discussion, worth a watch for some background info on the game.
surely series x should be 4k 120?
@Kaloudz Right yeah, not played the original myself so can't comment there :/. Hopefully someone chimes in!
I pre ordered a physical copy, Looking forward to this game..
@EliSweetG it can output native 4k120, since it uses a full hdmi 2.1 port. Games like Ori 2 and The Tourist are native 4k60 on series s
This is an updated PS1 game. It should have maximum output on both X|S surely???
