Lightyear Frontier is yet another upcoming Xbox title launching straight into Game Pass; another simulator effort no less! However, this ain't your typical farming sim, unless you usually use futuristic robotic mechs to plant grains and stuff... probably not.
Anyway, going back to the gameplay reveal, this one's shaping up pretty nicely! The futuristic element appears to up the pace of farming a little bit, and the otherworldly planet mixes things up from your typical farming sim. Here's a bit more info about Lightyear Frontier:
"Lightyear Frontier is a peaceful open-world farming adventure on a planet at the far edge of the galaxy. Start your new home on a distant planet with up to three friends as you farm alien crops, build your own homestead, and explore the untamed wilderness of the world."
Currently, this title is scheduled to launch on Xbox — including Game Pass — in Spring 2023, in what's starting to look like a pretty stacked first half of next year on Xbox.
Will you be checking this one out via Game Pass? Let us know!

That trailer makes me believe this could come to psvr2, it would suit it so well.
Looking forward to this one!
@UltimateOtaku91 I find your replies always very strange. You always mention playstation in your replies, but you're on an Xbox website. Almost like you're trying to provoke...
@GameOverScreen only reason I mentioned psvr2 is because the game would suit vr well as shown in the trailer with the first person scenes. And no playstation site is covering this game and this is the only site I visit that has any info on it or provides trailers for it. If pushsqaure made a similar article for this I'd put the exact same comment.
My other comments about playstation are usually on articles that relates to playstation or a debate about playstation with someone else
@UltimateOtaku91 I figured this would be your response. Take care
@UltimateOtaku91 -Nothing- suits PSVR due to the umbilical. Maybe one of these days Sony will get with the times and offer a wireless VR solution. As is, they still stuck 10 years in the past
Now if we were talking about having -real- VR support, wireless, proper tracking, etc, then I'd be down. Bonus points if it supports a haptics vest.
Edit: Now that I think about it, VorpX will let me play it in VR anyway. 😂
@InterceptorAlpha well psvr is the best I can do as I don't have a PC as I'm a pure console gamer, but yeah the amount of wires the first psvr had was ridiculous, I eventually just gave up as in couldn't be bothered to set it up every time but I don't find VR to be cool. The psvr2 apparently just has the one wire lol
Wireless will have to wait for the psvr3 😂
