Are we ready for another bit of delay news? Probably not, but sadly, we must deliver it anyway. Deliver Us Mars, the upcoming sequel to Deliver Us The Moon, has officially been pushed back from its initial September release date. Our adventure to another planet now lands on February 2nd, 2023.
That's quite the delay, given September is right around the corner at this point and 2023 still seems eons away. Oh well, at least we're set to get a fresh look at the game later this month, with publisher Frontier bringing Deliver Us Mars to the Gamescom Future Games Show on August 24th.
Here's a bit more info on the Deliver Us The Moon sequel ahead of its upcoming showing:
Sequel to the award-winning Deliver Us The Moon, Deliver Us Mars is an atmospheric sci-fi adventure offering an immersive astronaut experience. Explore new frontiers on a suspense-fuelled, high-stakes mission to recover the ARK colony ships stolen by the mysterious Outward.
Were you looking forward to this one next month? Let us know if you'll still be taking off in 2023!

2023 is one hell of year for games...
Not surprised, but really liked the first one so would have enjoyed - could have been a good get for Game Pass too if they're looking for bigger games in the slow next few months.
A shame, but recently Powerwash Simulator, Road 96, FH5 Hot Wheels and Escape Academy have been keeping me busy (and I need to get back to As Dusk Falls) so I'm hopeful GP and my backlog can keep me busy if we don't get many new games released!
Why are developers pushing so many titles into February specifically? Surely a steady stream of releases is better for all companies so their sales don't cannibalise one another.
@Rob3008 Lol you're right, even just the rate Game-Pass-confirmed games are getting pushed out to early next year, February's "Game Pass announcement" post could need like 5 screenshots to list all the games...
@Snake_V5
We said that in 2021 games got delayed to 2022.
Now look what is happening.
Next year we will be saying what a year 2024 will be for games 😂
Covid initially and now continued working from home is causing some of this. All get back to the work place office and it will all flow better.
@Snake_V5 as is 2022 with games like Horizon FW , Elden Ring & GOWR
@Dezzy70 I don't think everyone returns to office (like 100% work in office) for years to come.
@BrilliantBill
After covid a lot of companies including the one I work for has set up hybrid work from home schemes, that is now part of the business
In other words they will never be full time in the office if at all.
