Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 was a pretty big improvement over the first game, especially out on the track. However, it still sorely missed voice acting for its famous cast of cartoon characters, and thankfully, a third instalment is bringing just that.
Nickelodeon Karts Racers 3: Slime Speedway has been announced by publisher GameMill Entertainment, and it's due out this fall. This third instalment of the kart racing series will add full voice acting for its 40+ character roster, which is a welcome feature given how odd it felt to cruise around as SpongeBob SquarePants without his signature voice lines.
Alongside this big change to character voices — which also occurred with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl recently — the upcoming racer will add 'watercrafts', where your kart transforms when traversing wet terrain. Sort of like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed then, without the flying.
There's no footage of the game available just yet; all we have is a basic logo. Still, expect to see Slime Speedway in action soon, given the publisher is aiming for it to release this fall.

I'm glad that these companies are finally catching up with the times on voice acting.
I wonder if they will patch voice acting into the first two.
It sounds interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing more.
