2K has announced that NBA 2K23 will officially be launching on September 9th, 2022, and it will also include an NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition and a limited NBA 2K23 Championship Edition alongside the standard edition.
Details on the actual game are very limited for now — 2K says more information on pricing will be revealed when pre-orders go live later this week — but in terms of the Michael Jordan connection, NBA 2K23 will reintroduce The Jordan Challenge, "which encourages players to recreate 15 iconic moments from Jordan’s illustrious career." In addition, the NBA 2K23 Championship Edition will include a 12-month NBA League Pass subscription.
There's no word yet on whether NBA 2K23 will be coming to Xbox One alongside Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, or whether it'll just be the latter two platforms for the first time, but we'll hopefully find out more in just a few days.

Exclusive challenges... Can always count on Sony for going down the dirtiest paths of exclusivity...
The GOAT himself! I may buy this (not into basketball in general but grew up a Jordan fan).
