For me at least, every big sale seems the same. Same games at about the same price. I'll look but prob won't buy
@el_pieablo I can't agree more.
Pretty meh as usual. Picked up House Of Ashes though, Man of Medan sold me on the Dark Pictures
Got Yakuza 6 and The Remastered Ones for about 5 each. Awesome deal even if they're on Gamepass.
Seems like all the same games go on sale with the exception of newer releases that get a sort of sale.
Getting Control UE since I missed it on GP, been waiting for a deal!
Its like the prime day sale, I look for what I want, if it isn't on sale I move on. Same here, looked up chernobylite, not on sale. Done. Browsing any sale, LOOKING for something to buy, isn't healthy.
With 869 games on offer, it's hard to think that nothing appeals to you.
@FraserG Don't you mean Summer sale
MS is getting into the same rut that Sony is with their sales. The same games week in and week out. I have a wishlist in the Xbox store full of games that never go on sale.
@BartoxTharglod
You said that to your "wife" or your favorite pillow that you call Wife from time to time???
LoL I honestly just thought itt was cool and funny that you would talk to your wife about where Xbox games sales are at nowadays, No hate intended my man
Might pick up the Borderlands Legendary Collection for $20. I have some Microsoft rewards points so I could get it for under $10. I bought it on the Switch then a month later ended up snagging a Series X, wish I didn’t get it for the Switch now as I’d much rather play the titles at 4K 60fps lol.
@Tasuki 🤫😅
@el_pieablo I thought we just had a big sale like this a couple of weeks ago 🤷🏻♂️
I've been feeling like I want to play through Red Dead Redemption 2 again lately, having previously done it on PS4. I am tempted to pick it up as this seems to be the cheapest it goes for, around the £22 mark, but I guarantee the second I buy it and finish it again they'll announce a next gen patch or a remaster... Worth holding out for that? Does anyone think it's likely to be on its way?
@Alex79uk over the last few days it has been reported that the next gen patch/version was shelved in favour of all hands on deck working on GTA6. No idea how accurate that is but I understand your hesitation (I just fact checked this and it may actually be only the RDR1 remaster that was shelved so apologies if this is wrong).
For me i’m looking at picking up the Dark Pictures triple pack as I just discovered SuperMassive games. Started Until Dawn last night. The real one I want to play is The Quarry but will wait for a price drop.
Just like Steam, same old sales over n' over again. Might as well keep em at that price. If I want to buy a game, I'll get the PC version. Cheaper and have both RT and performance. Best of both worlds.
Xbox Same sale 2022. Fixed that heading.
there are rare sales like Story of Seasons & Rune Factory 4. Gonna grab that
Can anyone tell me what's the difference between the Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Edition and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain? The DE version seems to come with more content but is a good bit cheaper. Is it to do with it not being a Series X/S version or something? Thanks!
@blockfight The Definitive Edition includes Ground Zeroes, the short prequel that launched before The Phantom Pain.
@rhyno_888 Right. Also, Disney Classic Games discounted for the first time.
Agreed with many others. These digital game sales were just a huge deal 4 years ago, but now they're actually just the same sales. Newer releases do work their way in sometimes, but something is broken when these "sales" appear to be "MSRP 1 week each month", and they no longer lower pricing.
It's disappointing seeing that digital is now once again the far more expensive route than physical.
@K1LLEGAL I’ve only played Man of Medan thus far but it instantly sold me on Dark Pictures. The couch co-op is gonna pull my wife in for play sessions, she loves scary stuff. As son as I saw the other two on sale I copped them swift.
@BBB the Looney Tunes expansion was just announced too. Looks fun!!
@Banjo- Ya I seen that. I just cant figure out why that would be cheaper than buying the version without Ground Zero.
Probably House Of Ashes and Sherlock Holmes Chapter One Deluxe Edition both good price points
It seems the same to me to. I have a small wishlist, but they seem to never go on sale. Same games, same prices, in every sale.
I have a big wishlist, at least I think, around 80 games and only 1 made it on sale.
There is still some interesting stuff Castlevania Advance hasn't been on sale for awhile, while Castlevania Anniversary is only 4 bucks I think.
I spend the most money generally whenever they do the big indie game sale though.
Picked up WRC 10 at a decent discount, if anybody is interested in racing games
@Utena-mobile you can look for Assassin's Creed 3 Remastered as well as that includes Assassin's Creed Liberation Remastered.
Xbox Same Sale 2022. Same games, same discounts. It’s getting ridiculous now.
I’m just going to get Oddworld Strangers Wrath and Duke Nukem Forever’s The Doctor Who Cloned Me DLC, both at full price as I don’t see them going on sale anytime soon.
I may end up picking up the Life is Strange remastered collection at £21. Will see.
I’m getting tales of arise. I’m on a JrPG tear. I’ve played ys 8 9 origins, tales of vesparia, I beat ninokuni 1 and just started 2
