Games Workshop's Skulls Showcase took place yesterday, and it revealed all sorts of Warhammer related announcements for Xbox. Rather than delivering this as individual news updates, we've thrown it all into a single post.
Here's the rundown:
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun - Coming 2023
This single-player FPS will deliver a hardcore, sprite-base experience, as players take control of a Space Marine. As you can see, it channels the style and visuals of your classic '90s retro shooters like DOOM. This one is arriving at some point in 2023 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One.
Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef - October 20, 2022
Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef is arriving this October on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You can check out the new explosive trailer above - there's also a demo out on Steam, and physical releases on the way.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr (Enhanced) - Coming 2022
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is getting an enhanced next-gen release on Xbox Series X and Series S consoles later in 2022. This version will include all 25 DLCs and extensions, native 4K support, higher resolution textures, improved physics and destructible environments, and cross-gen multiplayer.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - TBA
Owlcat Games has announced Rogue Trader - it's the first classic RPG with turn-based combat set in the far future of Warhammer 40K franchise. It's coming to PC and consoles, no date just yet. Above is a "first glimpse of gameplay" which was revealed at the Warhammer Skulls Showcase 2022.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (BTS Trailer) - TBA
For those who are particularly excited about the upcoming release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 for Xbox Series X and S (no release date yet), we were treated to a new behind the scenes trailer during this week's showcase.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Chaos Wastes Update - Free Update, June 14th
Fatshark will be adding a huge update to the popular Chaos Wastes expansion for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 on 14th June. New trailer above.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (Pre-Orders Open) - September 13th
Fatshark's other multiplayer co-op, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, celebrated with a new CG trailer at Skulls. The game is expected to launch day one on Xbox Game Pass this September for Series X, Series S and PC.

Hell of a show!
Some great stuff for GW fans 😁
Looking forward to a lot of this, having watched the showcase live. The one thing I had hoped for was a release date for Space Marine 2, as I particularly loved the first game.
Do we know whether Darktide can be played solo, and whether there will be a free upgrade path for Inquisitor, @Liam_Doolan?
This was a fantastic showcase!
Lots to look forward to.
Looking forward to the next gen update to inquisitor martyr, great show, lots of good stuff coming!
Never really played Warhammer games as I had no interest in the Warhammer tabletop universe so I never played the games. Some looked 'OK', but I wasn't ever sure I could just 'jump in' without any real knowledge of the Lore.
However, with Game Pass, I am willing to give them a try as it doesn't require an upfront 'investment' on something I was never sure about...
A sequel to Space Marine 2? Been asking for once since I beat the first forever and a day ago. So glad to see them revisiting.
And it good to see Inquisitor getting an updated version as well!
Great looking games. But I don't believe release dates no more.
I take a release date, roll 2d12 for the months, and that's probably when they might announce a delay.
I've never paid attention to anything Warhammer and know nothing of the universe or prior games. But that trailer looks like a late 90's PC game, through and through, and it's getting me kinda nostalgic.
I thought bloodbowl was coming to Xbox series as well, but it wasn't mentioned in the above article.
