The Paramount Plus streaming service is home to the recently released Halo TV series, and it's finally coming to the UK this week! While the service officially lands on UK & Ireland shores on June 22nd, you might want to wait until next week to try it out.
To coincide with the service's UK launch, Xbox has revealed that a free 30-day trial will soon be available for all Game Pass Ultimate users. From June 28th, Game Pass Ultimate players will be granted a whole month of Paramount Plus for free, as a subscription perk.
"We are also excited to share that we are bringing the popular Paramount+ trial to our members in the UK and Ireland! Stream the Paramount+ Original Series Halo, plus a mountain of entertainment when you redeem your 30-day free trial."
As far as the Halo show goes, we're not entirely sure how it'll roll out on the UK service just yet. When it dropped in the US it released in a weekly fashion, but given the show's story is now out in the wild, it could all drop at once in the UK. If that were the case, the whole show could be viewed during the free trial.
We'll have to wait for the service to launch to find out. Paramount Plus heads to the UK & Ireland tomorrow, June 22nd, before Game Pass Ultimate members get a free month's access on June 28th.

no thanks bro
@Kooky_Daisuke The new season was all streamed free on Pluto TV it wasn't exactly well advertised though.
Thank you Xbox.
I will wait another week before viewing Star Trek and Halo.
They'll be worth the wait.
Halo is on channel 5 Wednesday's at 10pm in the UK. Saw an advert last night.
Is this a tease for an imminent drop of the Master Cheeks DLC for infinite? Big if true.
Paramount plus is βfreeβ for all sky cinema people and halo is on channel 5 every Wednesday.
@Zenszulu They didn't want to advertise being able to watch something for free they want to charge you for a little further down the line. I believe they only showed them once there as well and weren't on demand, at least they weren't when I looked.
@count_midge thanks for the heads up. Virgin box set to record.
Too many streaming services as it is, without adding more new ones π
I'll definitely try this and can hopefully watch all of Halo, Star Trek Discovery and Star Trek Strange New World's within the trial haha
Even if you are a big fan of halo (maybe especially if you are a fan), the TV series is not worth watching in my opinion (Please have a look and decice yourself). Some of the fight scenes are nice, but they are short. The story is not very good either. I had high hopes for this and could not watch more than 3 episodes... Hi
@Enigk towards the end they had all episodes running all day long but yeah no streaming option you would have had to sit and watch them in one go
Since it's free I may give it a shot, but I'm not going to pay for yet another streaming subscription in this economy. I've already got three, and Netflix is hanging by a thread if they up their price again.
So this perk was up today but not working and now it seems to have disappeared.
Got it now! Star Trek time!
