Horror aficionados Bloober Team have announced another entry in the Layers of Fear series, and this one is next-gen-only! Layers of Fears (not 3, for some reason) is the next entry in the first person mind-bending horror series, coming to Xbox Series X|S early next year.

The first two games followed the blueprint left by Hideo Kojima's P.T, creating a psychedelic environment where levels bend and warp and move around and cause all sorts of confusion. If that sounds like your thing, you'll probably be into Layers of Fears!

The good news is that this third entry is ditching last-gen and moving to Unreal Engine 5, which will hopefully provide a big step up from 2019's Layers of Fear 2.
