All eyes are on Forza Horizon 5 at present, as we eagerly await news on the game's first major expansion. However, plenty of folks are still tearing up Great Britain's many, many muddy fields in Forza Horizon 4, and well, it just got updated for the first time in almost a year.
As part of Series 49, Forza Horizon 4 has received a patch that adds a new 'save recovery system'. With the update applied, players will be greeted with a pop-up message offering to restore a previous save, whenever the game detects a save data error.
It's not the most exciting update, sure, but it is good to see Playground still support Forza Horizon 4 well into 5's life cycle. In fact, just a week ago, the developer posted a huge list of issues it's "identified & investigating" in Horizon 4, showing the team's continued support for the game.
In other Forza news, details on Horizon 5's first expansion just leaked via PC platform Steam. Hopefully we hear more about the expansion, and maybe even the next Motorsport entry, during this Sunday's Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.

It’s my favourite one! Just find it peaceful!
Personally I prefer fh4 over 5. Just feels nicer to be in, whereas the map in fh5 is a little too big for my liking
I just deleted FH4 because I lost my data. Guess I'm going to try downloading the game again.
