We first heard about Bright Memory: Infinite for Xbox Series X all the way back in early 2020, and while it was supposed to release in 2021, we still haven't seen anything about a release date - but it finally sounds like it's coming soon.
We've got some new details at least! The game will officially support ray tracing with reflections in its 60fps mode, or you can opt for the 120fps performance mode instead. Interestingly, it's no longer just being advertised for Xbox Series X and Series S either, as it's also coming to PlayStation 5 and, bizarrely, Nintendo Switch.
Here's what FYQD Studio had to say in their latest update about the game:
“I know people had to wait a bit longer, but my partners and I decided we needed to take as much time as possible to make Bright Memory: Infinite shine on consoles. We used that extra time to optimize the game on each device. I was confident about getting Bright Memory: Infinite on consoles, but playing the game on those platforms still feels like a miracle.”
Bright Memory: Infinite first launched on PC last year, where it currently holds a "Very Positive" rating on Steam based on over 26,000 reviews. The previous game, called "Bright Memory 1.0", is already available on Xbox Series X|S.
You can check out more details below, and we'll update you when we get a 2022 release date.
Bright Memory: Infinite is an all-new lightning-fast fusion of the FPS and action genres, created by FYQD-Studio. Combine a wide variety of skills and abilities to unleash dazzling combo attacks.

Really enjoyed Bright Memory, so I am looking forward to this one.
Q) Still excited for Bright Memory: Infinite on Xbox Series X|S?
A) Absolutely! I had been eagerly anticipating this game last year and have been eagerly awaiting it this year. I had started to lose hope it would ever pop up on consoles but here are. I had a ton of fun with Bright Memory and I hope the same or more from Infinite here.
That's cool, was a little confused at "Bright Memory" as it exists as 1.0 on XsX as I remember seeing "Bright Memory Infinite" multiple times (and I SWEAR on the Microsoft Store on XsX... My mind must be playing tricks on me 🤷♂️) I bought it anyway since it was like $10 and has 1000Gs but still need to get to it.
Guess I'll pick the Full Release up on PlayStation 5 as I usually do though 👍
Cannot wait for this to make my Series X shine! It looks like a good next gen game, hope it’s next gen only.
Being basically a one man dev team it's amazing what they have done.
Can't wait to play it
@MrRhysReviews do you own both because it's a dx12 game so that and the extra gpu power of the series x means it's going to be better on the series x... Probably by a not insignificant margin. In fact as the generation continues the gulf between the 2 will keep growing. Especially with FSR2. More cores means more efficient FSR2.
@d0x3601 Yeah fair enough, but that's also why these games have settings options these days. Maybe I'll just get it on the Xbox but it doesn't matter, I prefer Trophys and all my Friends are on PlayStation (also the majority of my investment when it comes to gaming) also the DualSense and overall System UO and Performance/Usability is much better on PS5 so I'll continue to play things there, also only need it to be 1080p/60fps as I don't use a 4k TV/Monitor so I always opt for "Performance Mode" anyway (and everything looks super sharp on my screen, things mid PS4/Xbone looked how current games look it's that small and sharp etc. obviously stuff looks better now but you get the point 🤷♂️)
Wow, this game looks very interesting, something to consider for sure,

@VokDaWiibSlayer Wow way to jump to conclusions, I was responding to why I prefer to (and why I will) play the game on PS5 (following on from initial comment where I said I was going to in the first place) I use my Xbox Series X the most, ***** I've even been using the Xbox 360 Slim I just rebought MORE than my PS5 the past month... You're the one turning it into a Console War BS argument now 🤦
