UbisoftNL Clears Up 'Confusion' About Ubisoft+ On Xbox Game Pass

Don't they have enough money already? The need to bleed us dry always come to mind in these type of articles.

If there’s a subscription service to which I’d NEVER subscribe is Ubisoft+, you can get most of their games insanely cheap and many of their franchises feels like the same game with different setting (I’m looking at you Far Cry…)

@IOI AC is just Far Cry and vise versa with a different skin on top.

And of course their games go 50% after 60 days of launch for a weekend or something at BestBuy if not, $10-20 a year after launch. You can wait for these, as they are usually playable by then after they fix all of the bugs. Great games like Watch Dogs 2 and AC Odyssey and Steep, but they all had bugs at launch.

Another $15/month service to play games that take months to complete and can be had for less than lunch...cmon...I'll give them 6 months until they discount it or go into Game Pass like EA Play did.

Ubisoft + not coming to Xbox. well that confirms my decision then I'm switching to my PS5 as my main console. at least PlayStation got quality games

Ubisoft+ is coming to Xbox, but unless it's incorporated into gamepass ultimate, I'm not gonna pay extra for it, that's because I own most Ubisoft games I'm interested in, got almost all Far Cry and Assassins Creed, most of the Ghost Recon stuff, so it would not be enticing enough for me to subscribe to Ubisoft+ that much

Separate subscription, count me out then. People have got wise to this, the days of loads of subscriptions half of which you hardly use is coming to and end.... Netflix's latest results is a prime example.

@BANJO I agree. Though at least with these game subscriptions if you want one game in particular you can just buy that one, but with TV streaming often they don't release their big hits for separate purchase.

@PhileasFragg Yes, there is that. Ubisoft has very little that appeals to me. I would likely use that route, just purchase the odd Ubisoft game on a steep sale..

I won't be getting this at full price but if there is a Gamepass perk for X months free or its half price for GPU members then I'll consider it

Separate subscription wow. It would be cheaper buying the one decent game they make every two years. I give it six months.

Please ubisoft hasn't done anything innovative in a decade or more so no thanks

I think with the games on ubisoft+ all the dlc is included

I dunno how many times I gotta keep saying this. It was implied for Xbox, not for Game Pass. Yes, they didn't explicitly state that it would never come to GP, but they also never explicitly said it would. It was just explicit for Xbox, like EA Play once was.

@Rocco81 it would be cheaper to do a trial and/or subscribe for just a month (the max length of time before one gets bored of Ubisoft open world hum drum).

A) ubisoft+ isn't even worth $1
B) not coming to game pass <> not coming to Xbox
C) have fun diddling on your playbox wasting stacks of cash on decade old ubisoft games.
