Halo Infinite Season 2 multiplayer has dropped and there's a whole lot of information to unpack. There are also plenty of surprises and one that's caught the attention of social media is the inclusion of Clippy (also known as 'Clippit') the Microsoft Office personal assistant.
Yep, after a very relaxed online campaign to add Clippy to Halo Infinite as an AI assistant, the absolute mad dogs at 343 have gone and turned him into a legendary gun charm and an epic emblem. Sure, it's not an AI, but it's still pretty neat and a cool throwback to Microsoft's earlier computer generations. Both will be available at some point during S2.
This follows on from video game accessory maker Astro Gaming originally sharing a mock-up of Clippy as Halo Infinite AI last August. The tweet generated a lot of interest at the time, so we guess the Halo team took these ideas on board.
What do you think of Clippy's debut in Halo Infinite multiplayer Season 2? Leave a comment down below.

They really should have made him an AI too! I feel like that is the next inevitable step.
Had to check the date wasn't April 1st. Lol. Great addition. Love MS humour on things like this, owning mistakes and embracing memes, now I want a RROD.
Love this! I have wanted him to make an appearance in a first party game for a long time, it's just a fun thing. Xbox do this kind of thing a lot now, lean into memes on their Twitter, the fridge, Craig etc. Good stuff.
I hope they get the Merlin and Rocky as well. Gotta love Powerpoint characters lol.
