We're not sure we'd ever say Forza lacks in the quality department, but clearly, Microsoft sees room for improvement. Redmond-based Turn 10 Studios has made a major hire this month, as a former Nintendo manager joins the team as the franchise's Director Of Quality.
That means that new hire, Heather Gearreald, will oversee both Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon, presumably making sure any future release is up to snuff regarding overall quality levels.

This sounds like pretty good news to us! If Nintendo is known for one thing, that'd be high-quality first party titles, and if some of that quality is now coming over to Xbox Game Studios, it seems like a win-win.
Gearreald spent almost five years with Nintendo at various management levels, so this is an exciting time for the future of the Forza franchise. Let's hope that the upcoming Forza Motorsport reboot is a high-quality release all round!
What do you want to see from the next five years of Forza? Let us know down in the comments!

Can wait to be firing red shells from my Lambo on the final lap at Spa in Forza.
@Muddy why settle for red when you can have the blue spiked heat seeking shell?
I can't see the full details of her Role as I don't have a LinkedIn account. Its interesting that she moved up from Quality Assurance Manager to Software Development Manager - researching and developing scalable Applications - which is important to MS as they have a wide range of Hardware to develop for.
Turn 10 and Playground have both demonstrated exceptional Quality in their Final product. I can't think of a Forza game that hasn't been an 'award winning' game - certainly not for many years as they have consistently won 'best racing game' and FH5 was IGN's Game of the Year. The Game Awards are NOT the only awards....
They really should have assigned her Bethesda, though....
@Ashadelo I hate the blue spiked shell lol
How interesting. Wonder if this signals anything about the next Motorsport. Maybe it's not coming out until 2023? Could've been internally delayed so the game could be polished. It's what I heard Forza Horizon 5 went through and that felt worth it to me.
