We found out back at The Game Awards 2021 that new studio Dramatic Labs (made up of ex-Telltale Games employees) was working on Star Trek Resurgence, coming to Xbox in Spring 2022, and now we've got word of another Star Trek game said to be "coming soon" in the form of Star Trek: Prodigy - Supernova.
The reveal for this was spotted on a banner at Star Trek: Mission Chicago this week, complete with the cover art and the news it'll be coming to Xbox One, Series X and Series S. However, the full reveal looks to be taking place in May:
That's pretty much all we know at the moment, and based on the fact that it's a Star Trek: Prodigy game, we're expecting it to be targeted primarily at young audiences. For those who aren't aware, Star Trek: Prodigy is a hit CG-animated series on Paramount Plus, with the first season recently wrapping up back in February.
Outright Games also prides itself as a "family-friendly video games publisher", publishing the likes of My Friend Peppa Pig and Fast & Furious Spy Racers: Rise of SH1FT3R in the past, so keep your expectations in check.
Happy to see another new Star Trek game coming to Xbox? Let us know down in the comments.

Did a quick look at the publisher behind it, I've actually played a few of their games with my kids, and they weren't bad by tie-in standards. So I have a little hope this will be fair (again by tie in standards)
