It's been a bit of a weird week for Xbox Game Pass — usually we have to wait until Microsoft reveals most upcoming games on the service, but five separate announcements have been trickled out to us over the past few days.
So, in case you missed any of them, we've detailed each of them down below. This includes yesterday's surprise addition of NBA 2K22 for Xbox One, Series X and Series S, which hadn't been announced ahead of time.
Disney Dreamlight Valley (Summer TBD)
Disney Dreamlight Valley is a hybrid between a life-sim and an adventure game rich with quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new.
Starting in summer 2022, Disney Dreamlight Valley will be available in Early Access for players who purchase a Founder’s Pack or have an Xbox Game Pass membership ahead of the game's free-to-play launch in 2023.
Floppy Knights (May 24)
Meet the Floppy Knights: tangible projections summoned from floppy disks! Tactics fuse with card game mechanics as Phoebe and Carlton, a brilliant young inventor & her robot-arm bestie, square off in turn-based battles. Select your Knights, hone your deck, and execute your strategy for victory!
Matchpoint: Tennis Championships (July 7)
The season starts now – grab your racket and become the world’s next tennis champion! Your opponent is on the court and the crowd waits for a promising challenger for the grand finale… Are you ready for Matchpoint?
Matchpoint: Tennis Championships combines slick character animations, authentic ball physics and enhanced player control to replicate the realistic rhythm of the game - every swing and hit feeling unique and satisfying.
NBA 2K22 (Out Now!)
NBA 2K22 showcases best-in-class visual presentation and player AI, historic teams, and a wide variety of unique hoops experiences with online community features and more, with gameplay and feature modes for veteran ballers and new players alike to enjoy on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One with Xbox Game Pass. Whether in MyTeam, MyCareer, or The W, compete against the best and discover the amazing journey to fulfill your hoop dreams..
This War Of Mine: Final Cut (May 10)
The Remastered Final Cut version for Xbox Series X|S is finally here!
In This War Of Mine, you do not play as an elite soldier, rather as a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with a lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. During the day you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge for items that will help you stay alive.

Not excited for any of these. Glad there’s a good variety in rotation though!
The Disney one looks up my wife's ally, but it looks janky. How do you get such valuable IP but not be held to higher standards? I guess they spent all of their money on the IP.
Downloading NBA 2K22 right now..
Early access beta for a Disney F2P game.....that's....a thing....
For the Disney one I guess I’ll be the one watching my wife play. Looking forward to that one. Will maybe also try the others.
F2p games have no room being part of a subscription however way you want to swing it. Hope this doesn’t become a thing…we’ve only just got f2p games out of the gold subscription paywall
Ooh, 2 vs 2 tennis may actually be a nice coop game. Bring it on!
The Disney one is EARLY ACCESS for XGP members,, means you get to play it before it officially releases.
Chill. It's F2P, you won't need XGP to play it when it actually launches anyway. XD
