LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been a hit with both the critics and the fans so far, and it looks like the immense ambition that went into it has translated into superb sales, at least according to the early Steam data.
We don't know anything about console sales just yet, but over on Steam for PC, the game has already achieved a peak player count of 82,517 people, which is miles and miles ahead of any other LEGO game on the platform.
Here's a list of the top ten LEGO games with the highest peak concurrent users on Steam (via VGC):
- Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (82,517)
- Lego Marvel Super Heroes (5,953)
- Lego The Hobbit (5,550)
- The Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame (5,434)
- Lego The Lord of the Rings (5,045)
- Lego Worlds (4,911)
- Lego Jurassic World (3,498)
- Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2,586)
- Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (2,186)
- Lego Marvel’s Avengers (2,112)
The sales have been superb on PC, then, and we're not surprised considering how great it is. We gave it an 8/10 in our review here at Pure Xbox, calling it "a stunningly beautiful and brilliantly ambitious take on the world of Star Wars."

Quite Impressive, and although I'm still waiting for my pre-order I think it's fair to say that it's well deserved.
It's just a great game all around! I lost at least 1 hour running around Mos Espa collecting the Kyber bricks and just completing the collectibles! You can really get lost and HAVE FUN...and nowadays many games are losing the fun factor
I’ll probably end up getting it but don’t why whether to buy it on XSX or PS5 🤔 I’m hoping for a digital foundry video to help me decide
its a fantastic game. I have played almost every single Lego console game and this is amazing. I spent 3 hours last night playing just the first mission to 100% complete it. I am a completionist for Lego games and i cant wait to spend all of my hours getting lost in the world to find all the bricks and collectibles. Bring it on!
I'd give it an 8 so far, only done one Episode so we'll see how it goes but the open areas seem to be really good and a nice mix with the traditional levels
Talking of sales of games, when you go on sales sites or in a game shop and see the top selling ten games listed, ok multiplat titles are there.
Then you see Switch and PS5 exclusive games there and the relevant consoles shown.
I really think it does harm to Xbox that none of their exclusives are there, one to show the game and two that it is on Xbox. It’s sort free advertising and shows what is popular and potential buyers general public like popular.
Now we know the main reason game pass day one releases. But I do feel Xbox loses out and misses out here on that type of free publicity and the potential buyer doesn’t even see the games or Xbox mentioned in the shiny top ten list hanging in the game shop.
I'm still early in the game. I gave it a great, but expect I will enjoy the game more and more as I play.
I usually wait for Lego games to hit the bargain bins, but tempted to pull the trigger on this one.
It needs difficulty lvls right now there is no challenge at all I did the first episode and it was fun I just wish the Darth Maul fight was harder it was really cool though. I really enjoyed the space stuff too
Will be working on episode 2 tomorrow.
@Nightcrawler71 I went of XSX. 6000 in rewards points plus 250 for your first achievement.
I agree it's a great game on xbox one, new fighting combos is nice and modern FPS controls to shoot blasters. Graphics are massive improvement and it's pretty much open world, walk around pick up sub tasks. Wonderful
