Update: 343 Industries has also released a new Halo Infinite Season 2 trailer today, which you can watch above.
Original story: 343 Industries has published a new Halo Infinite 'Season 1 Outcomes Report' - continuing on from last week's report.
This week's report is focused on the Live Team's responsibilities covering feedback on the game's customisation, Shop, Battle Pass, Progressions, Challenges, Ultimate Rewards, Events, Theatre, Observer Mode and more.
In addition to this, there's another 'TL;DR' of some of the Live Team's updates that will be coming into effect when Season 2 launches on 3rd May:
Shop
- Bundles will have more consistent value across different offerings
Battle Pass & Progression
- Season 2’s free track will have more customization content than Season 1’s
- Players can earn 1000 CR in the S2 Premium Battle Pass
- Weekly Challenges will see continued improvements
- Ultimate Rewards will be higher value cosmetics such as visors, coatings, and stances, and no longer have emblems or backdrops, throughout the course of the season.
Theater & Observer
- Theater & Observer will have updates to address overall stability, issues caused by viewing multiple films in a row, and problems that arise when observing multiple matches in a row
That’s just a taste of what the team has been working on though. To see what else we have in store for mid-Season 2 and beyond, keep on reading!

Weekly challenges seeing improvements is the big benefit in my view. That'll be the deciding factor whether or not I stick around once Season 2 drops. If I load it up and have another "end an enemy killing spree" that'll be it for me.
So Ive just completed Halo CE,2,3,ODST and Reach. Absolutely amazing, CE shows it age with the repetition of some stages and 2 shows it's age with the long road sections. But I loved replaying every single one!
Jumped onto Halo 4 last night and it's so full of sci fi jumbo and nonsense it's hard to enjoy. I couldn't put my finger on why I disliked infinite and it has the same issues. You wake up from hypersleep and are thrown into a crazy situation. You have to power down cores and just general time wasting rubbish. The set pieces are weak and it doesn't feel right. The gunplay is great but 343 need to go back to what made the originals so brilliant.
@themcnoisy Multiplayer wise halo 4 is my absolute favorite hands down. Played heck of out of it and enjoyed every moment. Other halo multiplayer not the case.
But many despised halo 4 multiplayer immensely.
