In an update on social media, the official Halo account has teased that "something new" is coming to the collection game very soon, and it's a picture of The Flood. Here's a look:
So, what's really being teased here? Well, one obvious guess is that the game is finally adding The Flood to the Firefight mode.

Great to see new content added to the MCC!
I was worried that support for this game was gonna die once Infinite came out.
@Wyatt006 would seem unlikely, given that Infinite didn't really get a lot of support since it released I would've been surprised if they weren't working on something else as well.
Knowing 343 it'll be microtransactions and cat ears.
Hopefully. They've been saying for 2 years now we were supposed to get Flood in firefight, and still nothing.
Everyone celebrating getting the 7000gs, along comes MS OI THERE'S MORE
I will definitely give flood firefight a go!
The updates 21 gb on my Xbox one so must be pretty substantial
