Hot on the heels of yet another huge Game Pass update, we've picked out Young Souls. This one stuck out because it's a brand-new release coming to Game Pass day one, oh, and it has a really stylish visual design.
Young Souls is an RPG at heart, featuring 2D beat-em-up gameplay. You'll fight wave after wave of monstrous goblins, all while exploring multiple worlds and doing RPG things, like levelling up a bunch of weapons and accessories. Here's the story lowdown from publisher The Arcade Crew:
Young Souls’ engrossing narrative follows the twins as they search for their guardian, a professor who mysteriously vanished just before the twins discovered an inexplicable portal within his estate.
The duo now spend their days roaming their quaint town, gaining advantages through gym sessions and buying fresh outfits ahead of their all-night fights to clear dungeons brimming with foes. With the fate of their most cherished companion as well as the greater world in their hands, Jenn and Tristan must brave immeasurable dangers and endure the defining battles of their lives.
All in all, this looks like another solid day one addition to the Xbox Game Pass library, which is once again growing in the month of March.
Will you be giving Young Souls a go on March 10th? Let us know below.

This was a Stadia exclusive for six months and got great reviews. 87 on OpenCritic (though there aren’t many reviews but Sixth Axis gave it a 9/10). Really looking forward to this one!
Looks better than Guardians of the Galaxy for sure. Don’t really know if I’ve got the time for it, but I will try it at some point.
