Xbox has been putting more and more emphasis on its PC offerings as of late, and that includes Game Pass. The service recently rebranded to 'PC Game Pass' and now, it's extending to another five countries in Asia.
Residents in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam will be able to take part in a preview of the service, starting today, March 29th. The PC Game Pass preview is accessible to Xbox Insider program players from those five countries.
Games industry analyst Daniel Ahmad says Niko Partners' data shows that 160 million people game on PC across those five markets. That's a huge leap in player numbers for Microsoft then, who continues to grow its PC gaming programs.
For now, it's unclear when exactly the program will expand to all players from those regions. Microsoft has said that it will be later this year though, so that's not too far off!
Do you use PC Game Pass frequently? Or just console? Let us know in the comments.
