Turtle Beach has a few new headsets on the horizon, namely some new iterations to its Stealth 600 series. The Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX and the Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB are launching next month in the UK and Europe, with a US release to follow in May.
What sticks out here is Turtle Beach's battery life claim on one of its new wireless options. The manufacturer says the Gen 2 MAX will deliver over 2 days of battery life on a full charge, which is pretty impressive if true in practice.
The cheaper Gen 2 USB will only last around half that time, so the MAX could be the way to go. The rest of the features sound broadly similar to the previous line of Stealth 600 headsets from Turtle Beach, which have been out since 2020.
When the Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX launches in the UK next month, it'll set you back £129.99. The Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB version will cost a more modest £89.99. These will cost $130 and $100 respectively for their US launch in May.

Impressive battery life but I bought the B&O Beoplay Portals during the Black Friday sales so I don't think these would be an 'upgrade' for me - at least not in terms of Audio and build quality.
i just spent almost 300$ on a wireless headset from microsoft store i have waited a bit i would buyed one of theses 😢
I feel like the Microsoft wireless ones last that long, but maybe that's just a feeling...
Turtle Beach kinda aren’t what they used to be.
Go Razer. Or Steel Series.
I have a Razer Kraken wired headset and it’s awesome. I bet the Bluetooth ones are even more killer
@BAMozzy With a £320 difference between the Beoplay Portal and Stealth 600 Max, I should think the Beoplay Portals are a massive upgrade for the price of them. I was keeping an eye on the Beoplay Portals but with me being hard of hearing especially to high pitch sounds, I couldn’t justify paying £450 for them.
In the end I settled with the official Xbox Wireless Headset and they are great with loads of sound customisation options.
@MaccaMUFC I picked mine up for £300 - 1/3rd off so I took the opportunity to get a decent headset - not just for 'gaming' but superb quality for music too. Also didn't want 'pleather' and these have real leather.
I was considering the Xbox wireless headset but when I found the B&O's with £150 off at GAME brand new, I took that option instead...
@BAMozzy You got a good deal there as £150 is massive saving. I once paid £250 for a pair of Astro A40s many years ago so I’d of definitely of bought the Beoplay Portal for £300. It may seem like it makes no sense me buying expensive headsets due my hearing but I can definitely hear the audio quality between different headsets, it’s just that I may miss out on hearing certain little details at different frequencies.
Pretty snazzy. Though I've found that being able to plug the headset into a wireless controller has meant I've not really been worried about needing a wireless headset.
