There's admittedly been a lot of debate online about the Halo live-action series. Despite this, Paramount says it's already its most-watched streaming service premiere ever.
If you weren't on board yet, perhaps the original video game voice of Master Chief, Steve Downes, can convince you. In a brief message on the social media platform Twitter, he's mentioned how he "can't wait for the next episode" after watching the first one:
"The overwhelming opinion among the Halo faithful at Lexington Comicon is the Halo TV show is a hit! Count me among the believers! Can't wait for the next episode!"
Do you agree with Steve? Would you be willing to watch the show now that the original voice of Master Chief has given the first episode the tick of approval? Leave a comment down below.

He’s not gonna come out and say it’s ***** is he. I know they had to cast someone else and I’ve only watched the trailer but it’s so strange having another voice the Chief. As a Halo fan I will not be watching the series, it looks like the usual Hollywood garbage these days.
Well someone had to
@BrilliantBill I said it just seems strange, that’s not the main reason I won’t watch the show, it’s because the trailer sucked imo.
Im afraid they have produced something that has very little respect for the source material. Dreadful waste of what could have been classic ip...
Well the people making it have never watched or played the games, seem to have little respect. Critics have been saying its bad, probably a pass for me
It was really awful and nothing much like the Halo games. Glad I didn’t pay for Paramount+.
@Savage_Joe Sounds like the usual Hollywood garbage. What's next, having someone slap Master Chief as he takes off his helmet and them giving a speech about it while they're handed an award?
