The Saints Row series is getting rebooted this year, with an all new entry in the franchise. However, it doesn't look like Deep Silver is completely ditching the series' past. A 'Legacy Edition' of the upcoming title has been spotted online, and it includes bonus legacy content.
The Legacy Edition, if this Best Buy listing is correct, will include last year's Saints Row: The Third Remastered, along with the new entry's expansion pass. Currently, it's listed for $90 all-in.
You'll also get a pre-order pack included — the 'Idols Anarchy Pack' — although that also comes included with the standard edition as well. The pack includes some vehicle, character and weapon cosmetics.
All in all, this look like a decent package if you've yet to pick up Saints Row: The Third Remastered. That alone retails for more than the extra $30 this package costs, not to mention the expansion pass that's also included.
The Saints Row reboot launches August 23rd, 2022 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

The previous Saints row games has a bunch of special editions (remember the Dubstep gun?) so it's not too surprising.
This is a game I'd want to wait for extensive reviews before I'd consider playing it. I enjoyed the previous games, but this is an unknown entity.
With the headline I was totally expecting for it to remaster a of all the original games.
Unfortunately this new game is looking to be Saint's Row in name only.
Not interested in this game I just want remasters of the first 2 games
@InterceptorAlpha same I was hyped then disappointed
@Would_you_kindly
Pretty much. Remasters of the first two (with no unnecessary changes to the content to appease 'modern audiences') with a graphics engine built ground up for the current consoles is all I need from this series. I thought I wanted a new entry then I saw what the new team at Volition is doing.
@Gamer83 they were supposed to be working on an update for saints row 2 because the pc port is a mess but the guy in charge of it unfortunately past away
The comments here are a lot of what's wrong with modern gaming.
Why on earth would you want remasters over a new game?
