The Windows and PC Game Pass title Age of Empires IV recently released its first roadmap for 2022. It runs from March until July, and coming soon is a public update preview of season one.
This will be followed by the full release of season one, which includes ranked season play, a content editor beta and mods, hotkey improvements, a new art of war challenge and various quality of life enhancements.
Ranked season two will follow - including fully remappable hotkeys, player colour pickers, map vote system and selection improvements. And this will be followed by "more" later this year.
You can get a more detailed breakdown of this latest roadmap over on the official Age of Empires website.

I hope in the first update i can spawn more troops.
*Great game tho.
I feel like this game was a disappointment. Normally I loved these games, but now I can't be bothered.
Ah, I was hoping for a console release to be on the table.

Me too! I know some people think RTS on consoles is silly, but I adored Battle for Middle Earth 2, Command and Conquer 3, and both Halo Wars games on Xbox. Would be super stoked to play this on console.
I don't see "Xbox version" on there. 🧐
Crazy to think no Xbox port.
1st party is dead as a dodo right now on console, and this would have been a relatively easy port to fill the blanks.
Even an early access port with keyboard and mouse only while they work on controller support would have been better than nothing. LOL
@blinx01 Straight facts!
