Right, here we go. WB Games has finally confirmed when we'll next see Hogwarts Legacy, and it'll be quite a lengthy look to boot. The publisher has teamed up with PlayStation to deliver a State of Play show dedicated entirely to this upcoming Harry Potter adventure.
This is a multiplatform game though, so here at Pure Xbox we'll have our eyes firmly locked on this State of Play. It'll take shape as a 20 minute presentation, with about 15 of those minutes being pure Hogwarts Legacy gameplay.
And that's about all we know until the showcase goes ahead. That'll be this Thursday, March 17th, at 2pm PT, 5pm ET, 9pm GMT via Twitch and YouTube.
Hopefully, this one clues us in on when Hogwarts Legacy will launch. A recent artbook listing pointed towards a September release date, but hopefully we'll know the date for sure by the end of this week.
Are you excited for Hogwarts Legacy? Will you be tuning in? Let us know in the comments.

Hogwarts Legacy does not exist in a vacuum. There are important discussions being had about the views and opinions held by the creator of the Harry Potter universe – views and opinions which we do not agree with.
Our goal is to create and foster a positive environment for people – all people – to discuss and celebrate video games, not to amplify ignorance or provide a forum for unconstructive arguments. As per our community rules, we do not accept any form of hate speech on our platform.
Will be looking out for this on Friday!
I just hope it gives me the same magical feeling I got as a kid from the PS2/Gameboy games.
Letssss gooooo
The PS blog says 10pm CET, that’s not the same time as 10pm GMT.
@Angelus3K Daylight saving mix-up! Should be 9 here in the UK, will change that now.
It has been a loooooong wait since that leak in 2018, less excited than I was then but hoping this reinvigorates some of that excitement.
mhh this getting an exclusive PlayStation state of play makes me think this might get a timed exclusivity, maybe 1 or 2 years?
@JudaiMasters
Not necessarily. There's a few they've showed off at SOP which has released on Xbox same day. They showed off the initial trailer at one of their events so was always going to be shown at another of their events.
