Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members who prefer to play their games on the go now have access to all-important touch controls on a further six Game Pass titles, thanks to the latest update, bringing the total number of Cloud-gaming accessible, touch control enabled games on Microsoft's subscription service to well over the 100 mark.
The latest games to join the touch control club are as follows:
As we've previously reported, a whopping 20% of cloud gaming fans use touch controls exclusively, so this latest batch of excellent games is sure to please the mobile gaming crowd with a handful of absolute crackers in the mix — yes, we are diehard Yakuza fans — and a wide variety of genres well and truly covered.

I just don't get the fascination with touch controls. Sure you don't have to lug a controller around but how can you see what's going on in the game when your hands are all over the screen.
@Tasuki Supposedly some 20% of GPU subscribers use ONLY touch controls.....that must say something.
I do use it sometimes, depends on the game. I played some Psychonauts 1 that way, and a few other smaller indie games. It's convenient if you just want to whip it out and play quick with what you've got in your pocket. Nier Automata, not so fun though. TBH I'd rather there be a universal virtual controller on the app than individual game support which is hit or miss. If you choose games that suit it well it's great though (not sure if Danganronpa has it but I hope it does, that's perfect for it.)
@Tasuki If you move the buttons to the corners, you can see most everything you need to. If your hands are all over the screen, you need a bigger phone or you got your button position all jacked up.
@Tasuki I only use touch controls when I rarely play via Cloud on my phone. Pairing a controller via Bluetooth is just a faff.
I prefer using Cloud on my XSX. It’s pretty decent for trying something before committing to a download.
@Tasuki touch controls are not my first choice but when I am laying in bed I like to sometimes play a game. So touch controls are easy to pick up play for 30 mins and out down.
I actually finished 3 gamepass games this way
@Terrin which ones?
@Raffles With touch controls the dark crystal, dragon quest, and haven
Currently going through monster sanctuary
@Terrin OK. I had a quick go of Yakuza and Dirt5 out of curiosity, and to my surprise the touch controls worked far better than expected.
Would I actually play the whole game like that? No. I have an 8BitDo SN30 pro plus one of their excellent mobile clips (the adjustable one). But I can see the appeal of touch controls, for sheer convenience and those without controls.
Though it varies and is sometimes a bit glitchy etc, Cloud play really is so much better than I expected. Astonishingly good really, even the input response is far better than expected.
