Well, the time has almost arrived! Elden Ring releases for Xbox on February 25th, and while we put out an exhaustive pre-order guide for the game this past weekend, there's also something about Microsoft Rewards you need to know.
If you're going to buy Elden Ring digitally via the Microsoft Store, there's a way to get 6000 Microsoft Rewards points at no extra charge. Head to the Microsoft Rewards app on Xbox, find the Elden Ring punch card and activate it, and then follow the link to pre-order the game via the Microsoft Store. Then, you'll get your 6k points.
If you don't get your points within 24 hours, or you've already pre-ordered the game on the MS Store prior to this punch card becoming available, contact Microsoft Rewards support and they should be able to help you out with any issues.
You can also add to your Microsoft Store credit for Elden Ring with our exclusive Pure Xbox discount on Xbox Gift Cards, where you can get 10% off by using the code PXBOX10. Simply follow the links below:

Got to love the rewards system. I'm buying this with reward points and getting reward points for buying it. Insane.
As usual rewards are not available in my region. Same with Cloud Game Pass even though I technically pay for it.
I don't typically buy digital day 1 but these cards are nice for those that do. That's effectively £6 as cashback. While MS can't reduce the price of digital without falling out with retail this is the best we can hope for.
I didn't even know you guys sold codes, great discount. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to that though, if I buy one will it ever expire? Like the microsoft credit you get with rewards points?
Too bad Rewards ain't available here.
@Cherip-the-Ripper
Nope, gift cards/codes that you purchase do not expire.
It's great that Pure Xbox are now selling codes as I assume that they get a commission from sales, which is a nice way to support a great website.
Can @FraserG confirm this?
Also, you should advertise this in its own article, it's buried here at the bottom of this one. Apologies if you have and I have missed it.
One final thing, the login credentials I use here are not working on the code website, is a new log in required?
But.. I want the physical version on my desk that I can bring over to toilet breaks and read on the back of it while taking a douchie.
@JetmanUK Apologies, I never saw this notification the first time around. I do believe a new login is required for the codes website, as it's not powered by us directly.
We've been advertising the codes website a lot on social media, but as you say, we haven't done an article specifically about it on the website yet. Watch this space!
Pre ordered mine 14th Feb didn't receive any points, contacted MS and still waiting.
@teknium_ Did you contact via the link in the article? They're not usually that slow...
I'll remember the discounted gift cards for when Starfield comes out. Though Elden Ring is tempting, there are a few things about the game that make me want to wait to buy it now. I should emphasize that I do want the game, of course.
@FraserG I didn't actually, I have had one reply and I sent them the info they required(screenshots of the punch card and my pre order) but I haven't had a reply and that was a few days ago.
@teknium_ Hmm, maybe drop them another reply? I'm sure they'll get back to you eventually.
@FraserG I'll give it until tomorrow and then get back in touch again, I know they will sort out the issue, thanks for the info/help.
@belmont That sucks dude... I have not paid for Game Pass Ultimate in over a year and got a couple of $50 gift cards along the way. I'm glad not every subscriber to game pass does this too, so Xbox can make some money and doesn't take the game pass ultimate month passes of the redeem options or something haha.
I almost feel guilty for doing it... but then again, I have told at least 10 friends and none of them will do it, all for different reasons too. When you are getting free money essentially for playing Xbox, you can count me in.
@belmont use a vpn on your router then pick a country of origin like USA and bam you have cloud gaming and rewards...
@Blessed_Koz I have thought about it but having to pay for the vpn kind of defeats the purpose. I am not sure you can trust free vpn services.
