We heard a few weeks ago how the team at 343 required more time to finalise its plans before it showed off the co-op and Forge mode in Halo Infinite, but it seems some screenshots and footage of the custom map maker may have already leaked.
While we're not showing most of it here, and can't say anything will remain final - the Twitter channel providing this information shows off the tools you'll be able to work with, including a look at the 'object browser'. This allows you to decorate your maps with all kinds of environments and much more.
In addition to this is a look at the PC controls, and follow-up tweets that show off USNC orbs, fireflies, the map Bazaar at night and even a gingerbread house. And although this has all been found within the game's code, once again - nothing mentioned here or showcased over on Twitter is necessarily final.
Infinite's Forge mode is not expected to arrive until around Season 3 based on what Halo's project lead Joseph Staten told Eurogamer last November.
"Those remain targets. And we can't commit to any hard dates right now, because as we're seeing with this multiplayer beta, other things might move up in the priority stack for us."

What was the mode called that was I reach where you had to all work together to survive waves of enemies? I always thought it was fireteam mode or something. Anyway, I really wish they’d bring that back to halo. Or even a pve mode like the last halo had. The multiplayer in infinite is so bare bones.
@Bleachedsmiles Firefight. And yes, that could be cool especially, with the abilities in Infinite.
