Nine Hundred Dollarydoos!!
I'll stick with my 4k TV thanks.
This seems to be overkill for this generation of consoles...
Seems odd to me to have 4K but only a 32" screen.
Nice idea, but my Samsung CX will do just fine. Thanks.
Buying an expensive monitor for your gaming console is one of the dumbest ideas I've seen yet. Just buy a 4k TV... Way better bang for your buck.
I can never get my head around why PC monitors are so expensive to the point it makes more sense to get an OLED unless you are worried about burn in.
A kilobuck PC monitor. Uhm, yeah, no thanks....
@scarecrowknife I use 4k on a 27" screen, the smallest you can get with 4k. What seems strange to me is 4k on 55" screens. From the distance you're sitting from it you can't tell the difference anyway. Sitting nose-first in front of a monitor you can still tell pixelation and jaggies at 4k. It's why phones have ultra high ppi screens and TV's don't: viewing distance.
@blinkx01 Market size, unfortunately. Few high res small panels are even manufactured and and the tech is always 5 years behind simply because every single household buys at least 1 TV, and these days only a niche buys monitors, outside lowest-possible-cost business monitors. Just no ROI on investing in small panel monitors compared to TV, so you pay premium to buy it even though you're getting less.
