The team behind the SteamWorld franchise are bringing their long-awaited new adventure The Gunk to Xbox Game Pass at launch on Thursday, December 16th, and we've now been treated to the first 15 minutes of gameplay.

Courtesy of IGN, the video above gives us a look at what to expect in terms of the art style, UI and early gameplay, which involves doing a lot of scanning, vacuuming and a little bit of platforming. We're liking the look of it so far!

If you want even more footage, you'll find it by browsing YouTube (lots of videos have dropped today). We're going to try and avoid the spoilers for a few more days though, as it's almost time to get hands on with it for ourselves...
