We've got good news for fans of the free-to-play co-op action RPG Dauntless, as the game has received a free upgrade for Xbox Series X and Series S with "exceptionally" improved visuals.

The enhancements include "beautiful new lighting and atmospheres, improved view distance, volumetric fog and other effects, to reworked environment textures, trees, water, grass, and higher quality shadows."

Meanwhile, the game now runs at 4K, 60FPS on Xbox Series X (1440p, 60FPS on Series S), benefits from 90% faster load times, has added 36 new achievements, and supports full cross-play and cross-progression.

The upgrade went live earlier today, delivered automatically via Smart Delivery on Xbox consoles. Enjoy!
