Of all the places you might have expected Halo Infinite and Master Chief to pop up over the next few weeks, it probably wasn't at an Oregon Ducks college football game! But that's exactly what happened last night.
Xbox exec Aaron Greenberg praised the Halo marketing team and Oregon Ducks "for pulling off this wild activation", which saw Master Chief approaching the 50-yard line in the Pelican as part of an augmented reality sequence:
As you can see from the image at the top of the article, Aaron Greenberg also posted a snapshot of Master Chief on the big screen at the stadium, revealing that the band played the Halo theme song during half-time.
As if that wasn't enough, mascot The Oregon Duck took to Twitter to reveal a custom Xbox Series S with the phrase "Mighty Oregon" on the side, the Duck's face on the front, and a custom Oregon inspired controller as well.
Pretty cool if you ask us!
What do you make of this marketing campaign for Halo at the Oregon game? Let us know down below.

It's a good idea! I'm sure Halo Infinite will be very popular in college dorm rooms for the future so this makes perfect sense from a marketing perspective.
That's dope and crazy!
Wish they'd let us custom make our own Series S like the controllers 😏😏😏😎😎😎 with options to decal it with first party title game images & add engraving / messages how we like. Would happily pay the extra $30-50 that would cost.
I am not sure the Crazy Fog is the draw it once was for marketing purposes.
Bah, AR. Make it a real VTOL and we'll talk.
@Enigk What, the kids aren't crazy about ringtones anymore?
