We’re one day away from the release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition and Rockstar has still not dropped any official raw gameplay footage. But fear not, the internet is here to save the day as tons of leaked footage has made its way online over the past few hours.
Courtesy of Reddit, Twitter, YouTube and every other social media outlet under the sun, hours' worth of footage is making the rounds online for our viewing pleasure.
And honestly, it looks pretty great. The lighting improvements seem strong, the character models look excellent and other subtle changes are in place to enhance the experience.
Anyway, enough of us waffling. Here’s a selection of gameplay you’ve come here for:
It's not too long now before you'll be able to get your hands on this yourself. Don't forget, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be joining Xbox Game Pass on day one, so you can always dive in and get a taste of the trilogy that way.

Hmmm wonder what country got new residents?
Just 1 more day to go
Not quite as pretty as forza 5.
@Jsb5150 don’t think that’s gonna work with this one? It is supposed to be a simultaneous global launch. Most likely someone with an early review code.
It.... looks like GTA.
These look great and I’m happy that I pre-ordered. I heard a couple of licensed songs from VC so that’s a good sign.
That was a nice hit of nostalgia 😍😍
Idk what the original soundtrack was like but it does seem to be at least licensed music from when the game was relevant and before then so...cool?
GTA 3 map seemed so big at the time...now it looks insanely small
@StylesT That’s because it’s a 20 year old game. Games have gotten much bigger since. Thankfully we’ve now got 3 open-world maps to play around in whenever we want.
It looks great, but I'll steal a quote from Redditor pietro5000pp.
"Same. I expected Grove Street Games to [mess] up again, but it seems... Good? The final games look improved from the trailer. I'll definitely get it on discount or on mobile to play those games again on my tablet. I'm still waiting for people to check out if there are any new glitches. Nonetheless, I would have to be out of my mind to pay 60$ for this trilogy. If it were 25-30$, I would even buy it right now."
And from Hesperrhodos:
"I'm not disappointed, it's exactly what I expected. A £60 texture pack with cut content, censorship, and dumbed down gameplay..."
Basically, I'll grab and enjoy the remastered trilogy at a solid discount.
yup not a remake just another remaster and sorry not worth 50$ not when you can get all three used for the 360 for under 10 and for me the graphical upgrade isnt worth the 50$ pricetag ill wait to get it for 20$ after christmas.
Looks OK but not worth £55.
I'll probably give San Andreas a go over the Christmas period and wait for a steep discount to buy the trilogy.
Cut songs - check
Censored due to Woke brigade getting offended - Check
Rip off full RRP price for a 20 year old game with barely any changes - Check
Rockstar can shove this right up their rear entrances. Money grabbing cash cows.
@MyThoughts31 what's been censored ?
@Would_you_kindly various scenes, lines and other little things like clothing from the 3 games. San Andreas has had a lot of the NWA era stuff removed and thats what the characters were based on!
@MyThoughts31 was hoping they wouldn't remove stuff , so the 'definitive' edition is actually the inferior version just prettier
@Would_you_kindly Prettier is debatable, i actually think the new cartoony graphics look worse than the blockhead originals.
@MyThoughts31 yeh I'll stick with San Andreas with gp for now and hopefully it comes down in a sale alot next year
