BioWare has just celebrated N7 Day - it's now been almost 14 years since Commander Shepard first boarded the Normandy.
To mark this special occasion, the official Mass Effect Twitter account has shared some artwork from the team working on the "next" Mass Effect. The developer is even encouraging fans to download the higher quality wallpaper and "play detective"...
BioWare has also shared a lengthy blog over on its official website, highlighting all the series' milestones over the years.
If you are looking to join in on the celebrations, you can't go past the amazing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, which contains remasters of the first three titles.
As for the next game's release date, according to a story dating back to September this year, we might not be seeing this title until at least 2023.

After Andromeda and Anthem, Bioware have made it's way to my "see what reviews say first list".Long gone are the days of getting a pre-order in for their games as soon as i's possible.
I hope they can get this one right though as I absolutely loved the first three.
@Clankzz Those glory days of mass effect 1 to 3, Jade empire and KoTR. Also Dragon age. I agree, they've truly fallen from their throne but here's hoping they can reclaim that. 😁
I really wish MS acquired Bioware. Mass effect use to be an Xbox exclusive, so did Jade empire (oh man that game deserves a remaster) 😲 it would be cool to have some Bioware exclusives again.
That aside, I'm cautiously excited for mass effect 4. I feel that bioware are aware at their shortcomings and will hopefully set out to get back on form and win over their old fans. The mass effect remasters were a solid start, let's see how it goes with 4. Either way, you can get your butts the hype train is coming 😁😁
@Clankzz Completely agree. Though to be fair ALL studios are only one bad game away from this. We shouldn't really pre-order before reviews, but hopefully reviews should be out in plenty of time to get a pre-order in, or cancel one!
