Good news! We've been treated to (supposedly) our first look at actual Elden Ring gameplay footage running on Xbox. The bad news? They couldn't have picked a more boring bit of gameplay footage to leak.
It's been suggested that the following clip is running on Xbox One, although VentureBeat reporter Jeff Grubb has chimed in on social media to suggest it's more likely Xbox One X, and the gameplay is a few weeks old.
As for the clip itself, it's.... just a character walking around. That said, it does give us a chance to admire the visual aesthetic of the game, which is certainly very enticing, particularly if the rumour is true about it running on Xbox One.
We've only got a few more months to wait until Elden Ring launches on January 21, and based on some of the early previews which hit the web back in August, it sounds like it's going to be worth the wait. Let's hope so, anyway!
What are your thoughts on this leaked footage of Elden Ring? Let us know down in the comments below.

Is it 2022 yet so many good games releasing
Do you think they'll be a difficulty setting for this game?
I hope so.
But with all the games coming out I won't feel particularly excluded 😘
Considering it’s supposedly last gen footage I’d say that looks great. Looking forward to its probable showing at the game awards.
@FriendlyOctopus Might be wrong. But going all the way back to Kings Field and Otogi Myth of Demons, to date, but From has never included a difficulty slider.
@InterceptorAlpha Ah...might have to give it a miss 🤔 I'm sure it's gonna be an awesome game though
As long as the combat isn’t Sekiro-tough I’m on board.
@JohannVanDerSmut That's cool 😊 I hope it's an awesome game regardless. I'll stick with my easy settings hahaha
