We witnessed one of the worst launches in Xbox history in the form of the free-to-play PES replacement eFootball 2022 last month, and Konami has now promised to begin to fix its many issues in a patch later this October.
In a message on social media, the development team "apologised for any inconveniences" so far, and explained that the 0.9.1 version of eFootball 2022 would arrive as an update on all platforms on October 28.
As you can see from the message above, the focus for this patch is on "fixing the issues already reported", which most likely means trying to iron out the many bugs and visual glitches that have cropped up across the web.
The game is also in very much of a demo state right now, which means it's lacking many different teams, modes and settings options. The plan is to release more features in November, although we'd imagine this could be pushed back.
How have you been getting on with eFootball 2022 so far? Let us know down in the comments.

I doubt this game can be saved ..I only care about the gameplay and it's awful ..so unresponsive...play online and you and your opponent will just run the ball out of play numerous times
I reckon there are a number of developers at Konami sat watching this disaster unfold on social media and screaming, 'I said time and time again it wasn't ready!'
They must have known that the game was in a ***** state, but the smooth brains at the top probably forced them to pull the trigger.
'You can kick the ball, right? It kind of looks like Messi. No more delays, ship it! We'll patch it later!
@Eleventy8 It kinda looks more like messy to me =0p
I got fed up with the game and uninstalled it. You can't even change playing level. What's with the same clips team walking through with suits etc. I just want to play football not skip same cut scene.
