I bought Harmony of Dispair on launch and never had anyone to play multiplayer with. Gonna get my friends on that shiz finally!
Code Veronica... A month after I bought it. Balls!
This.... this is not a bad month!!!
Don't skip Aaero if you like music games. It's quite Rez-like.
@Originut It's a good time, especially for free! I paid for it back at launch and have no regrets.
Oooooh, Resident evil YES! I'm gonna buy Silent Hill HD collection tomorrow. It's on sale and October is approaching 🕰🕰🕰
Now THAT, is a great selection of games 😁
Meh/indifferent should be an option. I, neither love nor hate the selections.
Not a bad month, Not great either..
For GWG... that's not bad. I'll take it. On a mini-roll with not awful games. Long may it reign.
360 games are good, but I've never even heard of the Xbox One games
I started Veronica this week. But I’ve recently played the newer Remakes and it was hard work to get into it. I’d love it to get a remake treatment. I’d even finished Zero right before I started Veronica and Veronica felt much harder to play. A great game but the series showed what they can do with the remakes and now I hope they go and redo Veronica.
Wow, a good GWG month? That was unexpected...
@Originut I'll see how it runs. Hopefully I won't regret buying it, even if it is just under a tenner. I'll let you know 😊
Oh bleeding heck, I already own the BC games! 😭. I feel like there will come a point with Gold where every 360/OG game will actually have been made available as part of the sub
Funny how people's opinions vary so much...this is a crap month for me but others seem happy ..while on ps plus I'm pleasantly suprised to be getting hell let loose but the majority are saying crap month lol
I almost bought Castlevania a couple weeks ago. Glad I held off.
Xbox will never listen to us when we say they need to disband the games with gold program . none of the monthly games with gold titles they give us are of any true quality.
my true honest opinion : Xbox needs to just rolls all 4 of these games into game pass. and continue to do this every single month. making the GWG titles free to play through our game pass ultimate subscription's
It's a damn shame Castlevania: Harmony of Despair only supports online (instead of local) co-op, but I'm still excited to play this one.
That's a great month for me.. All 4 games are well worth downloading. Hover looks very like Jet Set Radio, not a bad thing, and Aaero interests me from the trailer..
Both Castlevania and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X are solid staple games...
Impressive month!!
@FriendlyOctopus yeaa can't recommend on xbox it is phenomenal on Playstation thou so I might see if the sale is on there first.
If not 7 bucks is still a steal if you can only play on zbox
Interesting month of Gold. Resident Evil Code Veronica has the most fascinating story in the series but it's a port of a Dreamcast 3D game. I hope it's remade. It should be remade.
@Originut We seem to have more than one thing in common 😁. I've never bought the HD Collection because of that. I liked Shattered Memories (a remake/reboot of 1) so I hope that the other games are remastered and re-released properly but I've only played Shattered Memories thus far.
@Originut Ha ha. My first horror game was Resident Evil Remake which I love. I'm very excited about Project Zero/Fatal Frame's comeback in October. It's weird that Konami are not doing anything with Silent Hill. They are re-releasing the Castlevania games but not the Silent Hill games. And why did they give the franchise to Western developers in the noughties? Japanese horror is more psychological and I like that. Project Zero/Fatal Frame is brilliant.
That's a solid month. No interest in Castlevania but I always fancied Hover just never got around to buying it, so no excuse now. Code Veronica is a classic and Aaero is surprisingly good, I have it on PS4 but I'll gladly play it again. Happy days!
@Originut I agree 😁. Project Zero is fantastic, I'm a huge fan. Maiden of Black Water isn't the most terrifying in the series but it's great. I hope that it sells well and that the others are re-released.
I voted that I thought they were terrible before I saw the recommendation for Aaero. Now I'd consider saying the month is ok, but too late.
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is the only one of the 4 i can see myself playing seriously. The 1st 2 look okay i guess
Very good month!
What with these Great titles plus The Avengers announced for Game Pass I am very happy.
These are pretty solid entries. Aaero looks okay, Hover is something I wanted on Switch since it reminds me of Jet Set Radio Future for the OG Xbox. Meanwhile just bought a ton of Castlevania games for the Tokyo Game Show sale so happy to get Castlevania Harmony of Despair for free & lastly Resident Evil is perfect for Halloween and good timing since I just beat RE2 remastered earlier this summer hehe. Overall not too shabby!
