We're closing in on Assassin's Creed Valhalla's first year and the game is still receiving an abundance of updates. A large amount has been a variety of bug fixes, but amongst the array of patches, various quality of life improvements have surfaced in the game. The latest is scheduled to arrive on September 7 and will bring a Nightmare difficulty mode along with other improvements.
As confirmed by the official Assassin's Creed Twitter, combat in the game is getting a Nightmare difficult bump for those brave enough to test it out. Alongside this inclusion, three new River Raid maps, three new abilities, and new weapons and gear are being added. A short sword is also being teased for the latter.
The fun isn't going to end here for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, either. More expansions have been confirmed for next year, as the team works on the ambitious sounding Assassin's Creed Infinity.
If Valhalla isn't your cup of tea, then Assassin's Creed Odyssey also recently got an official 60fps boost from Ubisoft on Xbox Series X|S, further enhancing the fan-favourite titles. There's plenty of excitement to tide you over until the next big adventure.

Hope all the "git gud" players will now be happy they can finally play the game as the designers intended.
Better not have any complaints it's too hard, after all it's the "artistic vision" and you just need to "git gud"
