Waiting for a review of Aliens. Been burned to much by the franchise film and game to put money down.
@Beermonkey We'll have a review to share of Aliens when we can!
@FraserG part of me is a bit wary of the price point of it as well. Least I know if it is nothing special when it goes on sale it will be nice and cheap.
@Originut The original film is one of my all time favourite horrors. The sequel is one of my all time favourite action films. The third one is okay in its directors cut. The rest are for me just films I occasionally torture myself with to be a completionist. The games have not helped at all apart from recent Isolation. Even that made me want to be a colonial marine and blast the xenomorph (a dead space with aliens is all I want really.)
I've preordered the Deluxe Edition of Aliens, and thanks to MS Rewards, it was free.
It looks great - and I have found I really enjoy co-op PvE.
Can't wait to give it a try - it's the first new release I've been excited about for many, many months.
@Beermonkey I have a feeling aliens fireteam will get, whatever world war z got. Seems to be a game in the same vein. Multiplayer, class based, horde shooter, with a movie tie-in.
I'd get Aliens, been thinking about it because I do love the franchise and co-op plus it would get me the 5k points on the summer punch card but I'm not sure it'll get supported as well as DRG has been, or WWZ.
@PhhhCough I liked World war Z. Did get it for £7 in a sale though. Love L4D so anything similar Im good. Still will wait for review. 7+ is a bonus.
buying psychonauts 2 and aliens fire team elite day one
I hope Kings Bounty 2 is good as I love the series.
Just putting a Mechstermination Force recommendation here.
Ah, Mask of Mists is coming to Xbox platforms. Such a great little puzzle adventure game. I will admit to being unsure what I was doing at the time, but that's because logic had failed me and nothing to really do with the game.
