So, we've got a date! Xbox will be joining up with Bethesda for a huge 90-minute conference at E3 2021 on Sunday, June 13, and while the specifics haven't been confirmed, Halo Infinite will likely have a huge presence at the event.
We all remember last year's somewhat infamous gameplay reveal, which drew negative feedback for the game's arguably 'poor' visuals, and so we're assuming 343 Industries will want to come out swinging at E3 2021, giving us another look at the campaign and showcasing just how much the graphics have improved over the past year.
Aside from that, though, we're wondering what else we might see. The game's multiplayer component has been confirmed as being free-to-play, so will we get a first taste of how this will work at E3? With just a few months to go until launch, and with multiplayer being such a big part of Halo, we're assuming it'll have a presence at the event.
And of course, the big question on everyone's minds is what the release date will be. It seems a safe bet to suggest we'll get one during the conference, but considering that the game has been delayed before, it might be that 343 chooses to wait until the last possible minute to give away the final date. We'll have to wait and see...
So, what do you think we'll get out of Halo Infinite at E3 this year? Let us know down in the comments below.

I think this will be a big focus at E3, they need to put right the shambles of that presentation so I'm saying atleast 10 minutes of a gameplay Walkthrough and a quick snippet of some multiplayer
I'm thinking some gameplay to show the improvements and perhaps some multiplayer and the launch date of November for the Halo anniversary.
Close it with Craig being an unlockable skin but only through beating the game...can't just buy it.
"The game's multiplayer competent has been confirmed as being free-to-play,..."
I think it ought to be 'component', right?
@Krzzystuff
They better not lay a mouse click on Craig, or else. I'm serious. 🤨
@gingataisen if it's a skin I'm playing all my ***** with it once I get it!
He's part of Halo history at this point
I think we'll get a campaign trailer, campaign gameplay (either a new area or how the July 2020 area has improved) and the reveal of the game's multiplayer equivalent to Halo Reach' Invasion, Halo 5 Warzone, etc.
So kind of like what happened at E3 2015 for Halo 5.
Hopefully they show us some awesome multiplayer gameplay and a new look at the campaign.
@Grumblevolcano smart and thoughtful prediction. After a while those of us who see these every year pickup on the patterns of presentation done in these.
I’m looking forward to seeing the improvements they made with the extra time they had. The game should look amazing by now. Hopefully we also get to see some nods to Craig as well lol.
@gingataisen Not sure what happened there! Thanks
@FraserG You got it. 👍🏼
You are spot on with the graphics and the perception. HZDFW has just been very well received for its looks. Generally if it is not full native 4K or 60fps general gamers don’t care as it looks the part.
This is where Microsoft need to learn and not reduce graphical effects etc just so they can say native 4K at 60 or 120fps. It’s does no good for the mass market and general public perception.
The public will look at HZDFW and go wow, then look at Halo Infinite and go, that don’t look as good. Then bang, Sony sell loads and Halo doesn’t. Sorry, but it is as simple as that when trying to sell to the general gamer and public millions of consoles and games.
You need full weather effects and the whole lot nowadays and the environment looking lush and interactive with the weather.
Halo Infinite last time out looked lifeless and dull.
Just look at assassins creed, far cry the list goes on. Let alone Sony exclusives.
I did hear there are no weather effects in Halo Infinite a while ago.
If that is the case this game apart from the faithful will be dead on arrival after seeing other open world games with full weather effects systems.
