Welcome to the weekend! We're sure many of you will be diving into the new release of Resident Evil Village over the next couple of days, but if you're not, there's also a batch of new Xbox Game Pass releases to enjoy, another selection of Free Play Days titles, and over 400 games included as part of the latest Xbox sales.
Here's what we’re jumping into over the weekend:

I'm not really the biggest Resident Evil fanatic these days (I used to be, but I'm too much of a scaredy cat to play them now!), so I'll be skipping Resident Evil Village this weekend. I've still yet to play any of the most recent entries...
Instead, most of my time this weekend will be devoted to Star Wars fare. I wrote about how much I'm enjoyed LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens again after its FPS Boost on Xbox Series X earlier this week, and I've also been jumping back into the original Xbox port of Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, which isn't bad at all.
Outside of those, it'll be the usual stuff for me - a few sports games, and a couple of new Xbox Game Pass additions. I've played bits of Steep in the past but never really delved into it, so Game Pass is the perfect excuse to hit the slopes, and I've been told by Pure Xbox staffer Mr. Daniel Hollis that I really should try Dragon Quest Builders 2!
Have a good weekend, folks.
Daniel Hollis, Staff Writer
Much like the majority of the gaming world, I'm going to be playing A LOT of Resident Evil Village this weekend. I've been avoiding spoilers like crazy as I'm super excited, so I'm looking forward to uncovering all of its secrets. Having been playing previous entries the past few months, I couldn't be more prepared for it.
I'm also taking the week off to recharge, so plenty of games are going to be consumed. I've finished my first playthrough of Nier: Replicant, and will more than likely keep playing to discover the other endings. But I also want to spend quite a bit of time with Dragon Quest Builders 2. I've done nothing but try and convince all my colleagues to play it all week, so I better practice what I preach. If you haven't played it, you should - it's great.
Have a great weekend, everyone! See you in a week!

Hello. Game Pass continues to fire out a ton of belters for me to get stuck into, far too many to actually manage to finish if I’m being honest with myself but, nevertheless, this weekend I’ll be diving into Dragon Quest Builders 2 with my kids and getting reacquainted with Destroy All Humans! I’ve had a fair shot at DQB2 on Switch and it’s a really good time, so am looking forward to checking it out with the added graphical grunt of Series X, and Destroy All Humans is just a classic so yeah, can’t wait to run through that all over again too.
I’ll also be continuing to make my way through the absolute horror show that is a Village of Shadows difficulty playthrough of Resident Evil Village. I’ve been through it all on normal mode for my review already, but the ante really has been severely upped here, with even the opening werewolf assault claiming my life a ridiculous number of times before I finally managed to fluke my way through it – and that’s with high-powered gun unlocks carried over from my completed game save! I’ll do anything for a handful of Xbox achievements.
Have a good weekend whatever you’re up to or playing and try not to get bitten by anything.

I'm currently jumping between Borderlands 3 with the wife and Final Fantasy XV.
Will be playing Dishonored on PS4, Destroy All Humans and The Walking Dead: Season Two on Xbox One, and Layton's Mystery Journey on Switch.
I'm more than halfway through Dishonored and it's been a thrilling game so far! Destroy All Humans was fun for the first hour but now it's rather repetitive. I'm definitely glad that I'm playing it through Game Pass so I didn't have to buy it. I also started Walking Dead Season Two since I've been in the mood to continue this series and these games are easy 1000 G so that definitely motivates me to get through them. As for Layton, I'm playing it every now and then since it's such a relaxing and fun game to play on the Switch.
Might also start up Ni no Kuni on PS3 since I've been craving a JRPG recently.
Switch - Finishing up Crash 4 and continuing the Spyro Reignited Trilogy!
PS4 - GTA Online with friends!
PC - I bought Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to own as it is off Game Pass now, so gonna be revisiting that!
Have a good weekend everyone.
@LtSarge I'll start adding the Game Club titles to the poll from next week. My bad, totally forgot to do it this morning!
Grim Fandango for me. Time to work on the gamepass backlog and leave my library backlog for a while.
I'll be looking at getting some more time into the Injustice 2 campaign, great story, and start on Dishonored for the game club.
@FraserG slacker!!!!
@FraserG Oh that's really nice of you to do that. Appreciate it!
I will jump between the superb Mad Max, Borderlands: Game of the Year and Octopath Traveler. All of them on my Series X.
Have a great weekend to you all!
Came home from work this morning to find Village has been delivered. Taking a break from Yakuza to go scare myself silly!

Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series (Windows 10) - I restarted this yesterday and I look forward to beating it again!
Battleship (Windows Phone) - At the end now.
Gerbil Physics (Windows Phone) - Also nearing the end.

A series s weekend, for me
Happy Mother's Day to you moms and single dads
I'm currently playing Doom 2016, Also playing Monster Hunter Rise.. I'll be playing these titles up until Mass Effect Legendary Edition comes out.. Happy gaming everyone
RESIDENT EVIL 4 !
No I've never played it before and yes, what the heck have I been thinking.
It really is a special game, even now, several years after its release, it more than holds up in all areas. There's never a dull moment , inventive set piece after set piece. Just making my way though the castle now and the intensity is really cranking up
I have one side quest left to get one of the last two weapons I need in Nier Replicant, then I just have to finish the final area of playthrough two. Then onto my final playthrough.
I tried Hunting Simulator 2. It felt really inferior to The Hunter, I uninstalled it.
I'm playing Dirt 5. I don't see Shadow of the Tomb Raider free, is it PC only?
Melted my brain finishing Portal Reloaded on Thursday. What an incredible fan game/mod/whatever - absolutely brilliant.
Still going through No One Lives Forever but I'm kinda dragging my feet finishing it up. It's good, but I'm just not crazy about it for whatever reason. At this point I can say for sure that I prefer Perfect Dark by a fairly wide margin.
Started up Resident Evil 6 last night. It's the only one of the main games I've yet to play, and I want to cross it off the list before getting into RE Village. So far it's not that bad for what it is, but I also have very low expectations.
Not sure what the guys and I will end up playing tonight. Maybe we'll take a chance getting instakilled in Outriders.
I’ll be continuing with Alan Wake before it leaves GP! I started Episode 3 and am interested in where the story is going!
Playing Alice Madness Returns, MLB The Show 21 and FIFA 21.
Played RE Village yesterday, but today has been about the nostalgia of Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance, which was pretty much first game I ever played.
