If you remember last year's colossal Summer Game Fest, which took the place of E3 and saw developers announcing their titles across the Summer, then you may be happy to know its returning.
The festival begins on June 10 with Kickoff Live, a world premiere showcase hosted by Geoff Keighley and filled with a ton of announcements. It's said to have at least 12 premieres and clock in at roughly two hours long. Over 30 companies will be making an appearance at some point during Summer Game Fest, including Xbox. Joining them will be other publishers and developers such as Ubisoft, Bandai Namco, Capcom, and more.
Summer Game Fest is kicking off two days before E3 begins, which again, will see Xbox in attendance. Next month is looking to be packed full of gaming content to learn about, and we can't wait to see what reveals are awaiting us.
Are you happy to see Summer Game Fest return? Let us know in the comments below.

I remember how, I want to say disappointing, this was last year.
It just went on for so long it didn't feel like an E3/Gamescon thing with lots of reveals, instead it just felt like gaming news was slightly busier than normal.
Hopefully with E3 back in the picture this year its paced out a little better.
Keighley's events just feel bloated and unnecessary to me. If it was two hours for an event ran by the actual developers that could be cool. His events just seem like a fan who really wants to be included with the popular kids. Last year's game awards was painful. Would rather these world premieres be saved for E3 where the developers have more freedom to promote their games as they see fit. Not just used as a hype machine until the next reveal.
I hope the Xbox stuff here is the Halo Infinite info blowout and then the E3 presentation covers everything else.
I'm just hoping that all the gaming News gets dropped over a 2 week span vs the drawn out 5 months of last year. I'm excited to see what's coming to gamepass as there has been a lot of talk about multiple unannounced games for Xbox that people are excited about. If you go back a few months when Jason "the beard" Roland was on the Iron Lord's podcast he said he was most excited for a game that hasn't been announced yet... for 2021 i believe even... but I don't recall it exactly. Just don't be launching half baked games...take the extra time to have it finished at launch is all I ask.
Tune in July 5th for more on this game. Then july 7th for more on that game. Then July 30th for more on the other game. Then August 19th for more from this publisher and we don't know what game. Then September 5th for a little more of this game.
I'm glad E3 is back. Here's 4 days. Here's the year's stuff. Boom. Done.
I’m waiting for Keighley to claim E3 is part of Summer Games Fest
"Are you happy to see Summer Game Fest return?"
