It's been a year and a half since 2K released the critically panned WWE 2K20, but now the developer is getting ready to step back into the ring with WWE 2K22, which has received a trailer with some teases of gameplay.
The trailer was revealed as part of WrestleMania 37, and shows brief glimpses of Rey Mysterio taking on Cesaro in work-in-progress gameplay, including some detailed close-up shots and Rey hitting his iconic finisher, the "619".
There's not really much to go on right now, but the visuals definitely look a step up from WWE 2K20, and more details are said to be "coming soon". The game also has its official tagline - "it hits different". Let's hope so!

As fire pro has showing graphics don't make a wrestling game, it's gameplay which is something these games have lacked for awhile.
Hope it turns out good but not holding my breath. Hoping the Aew turns out too be good
Don't get me wrong it looks nice, but we know entrances and special moves are canned animations with special camera cuts, they usually the best looking bits of these games.
Show me Rey's mask reacting in real-time to a punch from NPC and we'll talk.
Eh, I got Retromania Wrestling for my wrestling game fix till AEW releases their game.
