Crash Bandicoot unveiled his latest game late last year, and now he's received a lovely makeover for Xbox Series X|S. The good news? It's available to download now and weighs in at 22.2GB via Smart Delivery.
The next-gen version aims to improve Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time even further for Xbox Series systems. Players on the Xbox Series X will find native 4K support at 60FPS, whereas Xbox Series S owners can expect 1080p at 60FPS.
According to our friends over at Push Square, the next-gen update is a visual stunner. Load times have been improved, the game looks clearer, and it holds a solid 60FPS. Overall, it seems like a decent upgrade and we'll have our own thoughts to share over the coming days. Maybe it will make the road to 100% slightly more bearable.

I'm still curious if this game is more like the Naughty Dog originals (that I still hate, and will never understand how they were popular), or if it's more like the Travellers Tales games like Wrath of Cortex that IMO were significantly better games.
@NEStalgia It feels quite different to the Naughty Dog originals, but contains the same level structure, albeit more ambitious.
But yeah, the gameplay definitely has a different feel to the N. Sane Trilogy, for example. Bit more floaty, and much more space to roam in each level (for better or worse). Oh, and it's really difficult
@FraserG Thanks! I'm curious about it, and that makes me slightly more curious. Not a full price game for my by any stretch, but if it shows up half price or less again I may give it a try. The more like the originals it is the less I'd probably like it, though the caution of its difficulty gives me pause. The originals were plenty difficult already, though they were difficult for all the wrong (cheap) reasons.
