THQ Nordic has released a new trailer for Biomutant ahead of its May 25 launch, this time taking a deeper look into the game's combat.

In a pretty explosive trailer, both in terms of combat and its colourful visuals, the sheer variety of options in battles seems fairly impressive. From devastating guns, to close quarter John Wick style martial arts, there's a lot of choice in Biomutant and we're eager to try it out for ourselves.

"Biomutant is an open-world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG, with a unique martial arts styled combat system allowing you to mix melee, shooting and mutant ability action. A plague is ruining the land and the Tree-of-Life is bleeding death from its roots. The Tribes stand divided. Explore a world in turmoil and define its fate – will you be its saviour or lead it to an even darker destiny?"

Additionally, anyone who pre-orders the game will receive the Mercenary Class DLC - a unique character class which can dual-wield as a starting ability. If you want to get a nice head start in Biomutant, this could be a good incentive to pre-order now. We are really looking forward to this one, so let's hope it delivers!
